The Best Resources & Tools to Efficiently Repurpose Your Content

Have you ever been curious about what tools are out there to help you repurpose content?

Well if so, then you’ve just hit the jackpot! Over the years, I’ve tested SO many platforms, apps, and programs while repurposing content for myself and clients. Below I have laid out for you all the tools I use in my own business, and for my clients to repurpose content. So here are some of my favorite tools I genuinely use and recommend for making content repurposing easier and way more efficient.

Notion

I’m a BIG fan of content dashboards and organized workflows. Having a place to organize content ideas, posting schedules and repurposing plans makes content feel so much less mentally overwhelming. This is actually how I deliver my Content Repurposing Audits, too!

Descript

Descript has genuinely become one of my holy grail repurposing tools. If you work with podcasts, YouTube videos, voice notes, interviews, webinars, trainings, or talking Reels… having a transcript changes EVERYTHING. Being able to quickly scan a transcript and pull quotes, hooks, blog sections and short-form clips makes repurposing so much faster. Plus you can also edit both audio and video directly inside the platform which saves SO much time bouncing between a million different editing tools. I truly could not function without Descript at this point!

Google Drive/Docs

This one is a bit of a no brainer but Google Drive and Google Docs are the best programs to be able to collaborate and keep all of your content organized! And pleaseeee back up your content. So many business owners treat Instagram like a storage system when really… it’s not. Your captions, graphics, videos, photos, and content ideas should absolutely exist somewhere outside of social media apps. Extra tip… color coordinate your folders to keep them extra fun! (I talk about staying organized creating content on my Content & Chill podcast!)

Inflact

One of the easiest ways to get more mileage out of your short-form video content is reposting it across multiple platforms. A Reel you already created for Instagram can also become a YouTube Short, a Pinterest Idea Pin, or a TikTok (and vice-versa). I use tools like Inflact to download Reels without the Instagram watermark so they can easily be repurposed elsewhere. It’s also REALLY smart to keep backup copies of your content outside of social media apps.

Flo Desk

For emails, Flodesk is still one of my favorite platforms aesthetically. I love how simple and visually clean it is compared to some email marketing platforms that look like they were built in 2007! And email content is honestly one of the MOST underrated forms of content to repurpose.

You do not need a massive team, expensive equipment, or 42 different subscriptions to make your content work harder for you. Having a few solid systems and tools in place is what helps make content creation feel a heck of a lot easier! But if reading this made you realize you don’t actually want to spend your time organizing dashboards, repurposing podcasts, editing clips, pulling transcripts, or figuring out how to turn one piece of content into 15 others… then you need me as your content fairy godmother! Get in touch and let’s chat about how we can turn your existing content into WAY more visibility, consistency, and reach for your business.
