What is Content Repurposing?

Content repurposing is a strategy that has been around for a long time but has recently been discussed in the online space! It’s essentially a way for you to work smarter, not harder, by transitioning one piece of content and repurposing the main points into multiple pieces of content across different platforms. Often, the content you are making solely for one area can be used in other places and even sold!

What Types of Content are Great for Repurposing?

If you are creating any type of content, I guarantee it can be repurposed into another form. You can use content repurposing to create social media posts, blog posts, freebies, email newsletters, course content, podcasts, videos, and more! I have clients where I turn their podcasts into blog posts or even social media posts into new social media posts. The possibilities are endless!

Which Kinds of Business Owners Can Repurpose Content?

Any business owner creating content to put out into the online space can utilize the magic of content repurposing. It’s specifically great for podcasters, bloggers, YouTubers, and course creators since that is long-form content. As long as you have one piece of pillar content and multiple platforms in your business, then you should be repurposing your content to maximize your message.
